Super nice & big apartment, with a lovely terrace and right in the centre of Alençon. It has all the charm of an ancient French house (chimneys, wooden floor in some rooms, high ceilings, etc), while being kept in a very good and comfortable condition.
Its very well equipped, with all cookware you might need if you want to have lunch or dinner at the apartment, plus they also kept some nice individual portions for breakfast (coffee capsules, bread, butter, jam, Nutella, etc.) In the kitchen.
It's definitely an excellent choice if you will spend one or several nights in the town.

When we were taken to the accommodation, there were what appeared to be three front doors, and therefore expected there would be three separate separate letting rooms, only to find it was one large living area, consisting of a kitchen dinner connecting to a living room and onto the bedroom all good size. So what a lovely surprise!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Beautifully restored historical property with contemporary bathrooms and contemporary take on traditional interior decor. Relaxing and stylish. Lovely gardens. Safe easy parking.Excellent location near the town centre but quiet and secluded. The host was helpful and lovely.
Jean Michel is a superb host and arranged a restaurant reservation for us. This charming historic building is immaculately clean and comfortable with a great shower. Lovely views over the town of Alencon from our room and nice grounds to relax in with an aperitif provided by the host.
The host was charming, helpful and friendly. There was a shed to store our bikes. King size bed in large attic room with views of the castle and gardens. All guests had a drink in the large drawing room before walking to a restaurant for dinner in the delightful town. Room was well designed. The house has been restored to a very high standard and is understated elegance rather than opulent. Couldn’t fault anything and would definitely stay there again.
Beautifully decorated with very newly refurbished and comfortable bedrooms and lovely bath/shower rooms. Beds were large and very comfortable with lovely bedroom lighting and furniture. The host was charming and very interesting - and breakfast delicious! Our first stay but we would definitely go back.
This is the most beautifully and tastefully decorated place I have had the pleasure to stay in. It’s right on the edge of town so benefits from being quiet and yet a stone throw into the centre. The host is charming and very knowledgable of the area.
Breakfast was lovely. Personal and fresh to order! Very boutique and charming setting. I would recommend to anyone staying in this area. The hosts were so attentive and made the effort to make sure we were comfortable. They even set me up so I could charge my car. Wonderful experience!
Lovely boutique hotel, beautifully restored. Very comfy room. Good breakfast. Very convenient location for walking into town. Stephane was a great host and we very much appreciated the welcome drinks at the end of a very long hot drive.
Very clean and tidy. Rooms well maintained and very charming. Secure parking and lovely little garden that the children enjoyed exploring. Staff friendly and personable - booked us a table at a a local restaurant. Even the dog was a great host!
