The welcome was nice. Property was very rustic, breakfast was pleasant. Very peaceful and pleasant location, although we were only stopping one night passing through so didn't get to explore locally.

My family and I loved every minute we spent at the Chateau de Bellignies. We took a train into Valenciennes, which is a beautiful town, and immediately fell in love with the entire region. The chateau itself is gorgeous and full of absolutely fascinating history, Our rooms made us feel like royalty, with high ceilings, fireplaces, huge windows, and elegant furnishings. The chateau is also run by the most wonderful family, who treated us like family. They are smart, kind, generous, and very knowledgeable about local history--and speak English! If you're looking for a fun, unique, unforgettable experience, look no further than the Chateau de Bellignies.
