We had a great night and a lovely breakfast in this guesthouse. We would love to return there for the longer holiday. Amazing hospitality and place with the greatest and very romantic (outside view) panorama.

I had a great stay in the small town of Annot. Unfortunately I only was able to communicate with the owner in written (text messages) but everything went extremely good. I got the door code and found the room key easily.
The rooms is lovely and you see that the owner cares about how everyhting looks like. For that price the room was also very big and the couch was perfect for the rainy afternoon that I had after the hike to the big sandstones (Gres d'Annot).
There is not much to do in the town and the restaurant options are limited but it is definitely worth to stay for one or two nights and do the hike. The house is on the main road through the town but it was still not loud.

Lovely old building, renovated to provide simple, clean, comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Great location just up the road from Castellane. Loved the kitchen set-up where you can cook for yourself or just make a coffee, and there are various comfortable seating areas inside and out.

We had our honeymoon here, for 1 week, and had the best time we could have asked for!
The domaine is wonderfully located just 3km from the small but magical hilltop village of Cabris. Cabris had good casual dining spots as well as two fancier restaurants with very good food.
Stéphanie was an amazing host. Each morning she would recommend local trips and was always happy to chat (in French or English) and tell us more about the area/the home. Our day trips included the Lac de Saint Cassien, Nice, Tourettes-sur-Loup and Valbonne (lovely market on Fridays). She also has 2 e-bikes which are free and available to use whenever! Cycles to Cabris and Saint Césaire are doable and has great views.
Our highlights included the exquisite breakfasts, as pictured, and the peaceful pool area. Everyone has access to a shared kitchen which meant we could have easy lunches or dinners at the property. We didn’t see the other guests too much and often had the pool/seating areas to ourselves!
Despite the heat outside and no AC, we found that the room kept cool but there was a ceiling fan when necessary.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
a little bit off the beaten track but in extremely nice countryside - quiet village (no restaurant, no market) with a quiet night - very nice hosts - only stayed one night, but would be a great place for a little longer stay
Great location "at the end of the world"; very relaxing; friendly villagers; nice interior design.
Please note:
- the cellular signal is available only at both ends of the village but not in the village and the house. The wifi was great.
- the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor and the toilet on the first connected by the steep steps. Might be a problem if you are older
- the roads in the area are narrow, steep and curvy. Times to get somewhere by car are significantly higher than I have expected even the distance was not that big.
- Very comfortable beds
- Property has everything you need and more
- Very spacious, with lots of seating area. The sofa was really comfortable.
- Views were incredible
- Parking space
- Host was really kind, and even brought us food as we turned up later than expected on motorcycles
- Spacious wooden house with a big terrace offering a spectacular view.
- Very quiet place.
- Well equipped, all the necessary utensils were available.
