This property is exceptional value for money ideally located not far from the castle, shops and restaurants. The owners were friendly and there was a locked garage where I could safely store my bike. The room and ensuite were spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. I couldn't fault this place and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling though Vitré 😊

Exceptional Chateaux in rural setting. Interior has been totally renovated and tastefully decorated with modern and period pieces. Beautiful environment with space to explore if you have time. Charming host who couldn't have done more for us, spoke English too which is very helpful. Breakfast in the largest room with huge exposed beams for the ceiling and glorious artifacts from French history. It was like being transported back in time. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Dagmar is a delight! She is an exceptional hostess who clearly takes pride in her Presbytere. We really appreciated the time we spent in her company! The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Dagmar had offered to make dinner for us at a very reasonable cost, and we are so glad we took her up on her offer. The crepes were delicious, as was the breakfast the following morning.
