This was our third stay at Le Jardin and what a delight it is. Very peaceful and yet central (inches from the market). The studio accommodation is set at the back of the main house and very independent. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served in the barn behind the studio, served by the charming host. We’re looking forward to staying a fourth time later in the year.

Lovely decoration, a lot of thought has gone into the renovation. Lovely bathroom. Hosts very kindly came to the property as I had lost my phone and they had not had a response to their checking in messages.

Amazing experience. The lovely hosts treated us with so much care and attention to detail, even having booked last minute because we were traveling through the area with our baby and we needed to rest. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of homemade products. This place is a jewel and we really recommend it.

My favourite hotel on my French travels, a real gem. The old property has been imaginatively renovated and elegantly furnished with flair. There are interesting communal sitting areas; the terrace and bedrooms have an outstanding view. It’s situated at the historic centre of Thouars and provides a great location for exploring further. For those cycling, like I was, the secure bike storage was very convenient. Breakfast was simple and excellent. The hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere, with unusual charm! The hosts were extremely welcoming and professional.
