Les Terres Basses is a beautifully restored 19th century house. The hosts, Jean Marc and Vero are extremely hospitable. Their English is limited but it was not a problem (especially if you speak some French). The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is renovated. There is a beautiful garden where one can have breakfast or an aperitif. The breakfasts consisted of fresh croissants and baguette with yogurt and fresh fruit. Some days there was a fruit tart. One can eat dinner on property which I did once. Delicious. Don't be put off by the narrow country road that the property is on. It is very close to the village of Fabrezan and other small towns that offer restaurant choices. Overall, highly recommended.

Arriving late, we just had to walk down the street for dinner at the local pizzeria-bistro.
I loved the fact that crepes and eggs for breakfast were fresh made and custom ordered.
Decor is tastefully done and not generic.
