PortugalWhat an amazing and interesting place to stay. We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable.
Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!

The property was Ideally placed,:1km out of town, so accessible, but also extremely quiet and rural. The grounds were very pleasing, well-maintained and tranquil with a large private patio and small pool. The apartment itself was well-maintained, comfortable and extremely clean.
