Enjoyed a very pleasant stopover enroute to Portugal. Had plenty of room as had full use of downstairs lounge area with a TV too. Bedroom was very large. The host was lovely and also provided some small snacks on our arrival which was a lovely touch. She was very helpful and recommended a local restaurant to eat in. Local area was very nice to wander around and was very typically French. Accomodation was next to a convenience store which was very useful for stocking up on bits for our ongoing journey.

This place is cozy and unique. It is just a few kms from the coast but in the countryside. The environment is so beautiful and charmant. You can really take a rest here. Abd the restaurant is very good.

The owners are WONDERFUL! What a kind & thoughtful & helpful couple! They helped us with a minor car repair, reserved hidden gem of a restaurant for dinner, prepared delicious breakfast -- based upon our personal wishes, chatted via Google Translate about the house, and the region. They take such pride in the place! We were worried about the trains so close by, but the double windows & metal window sash eliminated all the noise. The location looks odd when you drive in, but dont let that put you off.

This is a very rustic guesthouse in a quiet location. The Booking.com reviews promised me a Peacock and I wasn't disappointed! I was travelling by bicycle, and this place was very convenient to store my bike and to cook an evening meal in the kitchen.
