There is a nice garden and many places to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. Our room was exceptionally clean and the breakfasts were very good. Wild boars in the wood behind the house, we haven’t met them but lots of paw prints around the house and on the street to the city center. Very quiet and the hosts were very friendly and helpful providing secure storage for my bike and advice on evening restaurants a short walk away in to the village. A lovely place to stay made special by all the work to personalise the room and the friendliness of the hosts. Gerard was a woderful host that knows the area really well and could give us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We recommend his breakfast that can be served in the garden if the weather allows. He allowed us as well to use two bikes so we could also have the chance to visit the villages around.
