It is warm and welcoming (early May) and utterly charming. There is a log burner in the breakfast room and central heating in the bedrooms. Owners are charming and thoughtful. It is incredibly calming, we wish we’d stopped there for a week rather than two nights. Hens and chickens enjoy an idyllic life, you’ll never eat a factory-raised chicken again. The refurbishment of the property and fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and everything was included.
