What an amazing find! I had to book last minute when my ferry was cancelled so I ended up travelling to Calais. The hotel is an easy hour's drive from Le Shuttle and it is a fantastic first stop in France. The house is packed with character and history and run by an absolutely lovely lady, Helene, who served me a delicious and good value four-course meal with not much notice. The room was beautiful, large and comfortable, and the breakfast was also top-quality. I'd love to go back and stay longer as the area has so much history and beautiful coastal towns.

    Alex is the most amazing host and helped me solve a problem with my car as soon as I arrived. The Gite is beautiful, fully cladded in beautiful wood- everything brand new. Tea and coffee provided. The Gite came with two bicycles included in the booking. We had a lovely stay. Ideal if you travelling with little equipment for up to two people. There is one very comfortable sofa bed.

    Everything was spotless clean when we arrived. Lovely quiet site, supermarket just around the corner. Bakery van come onto site on a morning, Pizza evening and burger and fries evening. Lovely outside bar. Very friendly staff

    Great location near beach. We love Quend Plage and would recommend staying here if you want a big empty sandy beach on you door step. A few nice bars and restaurants.

    Very original, well equipped (no shower though), bbq (bring your own charcoal!), quiet place away from it all, but only for a day as there is no shower. Host very helpful and allowed us to stay the whole afternoon on departure day as there was no-one scheduled after us. Frogs singing all night :)

    We love it here, we've stayed a few times now, great location, really comfy beds. We travel with our two dogs and it's brilliant for them , 5 mins to the beach , all on ground floor with own front door so easy access with no disturbing anyone else

    The host, Emeric, was very friendly and helpful. The cabin is located in a quiet, rural area, exactly as described. The path towards the cabin is a little 'off road', but doable with a normal car. The matresses were firm and comfortable. At night it's quiet and dark. Everything was simple but perfect. We loved staying here and love to come back once Emeric has restored the pont.
