David is a very kind host who will makes it an ejoyable stay. He has good tips for restaurants an places to visit. He even helps out with the reservations. We received a free room upgrade because the bigger room was available which was very nice! Facilities, breakfast and room was very good. A tip: join David with the aperitief at 7PM each evening to get the real French experience.

Lovely stay in Vichy for two nights. Owner and Host Mark extremely welcoming and helpful without being imposing. He had good English which helps. Three bedroom appt at top of building which is renovated mansion house. Bedrooms large two kings and one double beds. Living room, full kitchen,,shower bathroom and separate toilet. Loads of space. Very good location near centre. Photos of rooms under sell it as much nicer in reality. Long climb to top floor is hard on elderly clients as no elevator . Beds very comfortable and Mark served breakfast each day. This was French croissants, tea coffee, juices etc. Plenty for us a group of four adults Slept well and lovely experience in Vichy. Will remember Mark , les suites and Vichy with a smile.

I had visited Vichy a few years ago and found it well worth a second visit. The guesthouse is situated in a fin-the-siècle (not the last one of course) villa just outside of the stunning spa complex and a few minutes' walk from the Allier river. Warm welcome by nice host who showed us around, Cosy, spacious room, nice lounge where you can prepare and eat your own meals. If there are other guests (there weren't) you share the lounge with them. Hygiene 100%. Good beds, shower a bit underpowered but nothing to complain about really. Adequate breakfast. Host would have been glad to look after our luggage until we left in the afternoon, but unfortunately had to leave for the day herself; her friend at the supermarket across the street was so kind to keep our bags, which is saying something about the atmosphere here. Easy, straightforward 15 minutes walk from the train station. Tip: follow the Avenue de Paris from the station and not the Gambetta as suggested by Google, not that it's bad but the Paris is much nicer and perhaps 10 seconds slower. Recommended.
