Great location- a little out of town but very relaxing. A breath of fresh air.
The apartment was wonderful with quality inclusions. This was THE most comfortable bed we have slept in. Like sleeping on a cloud!

Superb accommodation and wonderful host. We really appreciated the cool pool on arrival, the homely touches, and especially the breakfast with homemade yoghurt, jams, and granola. Great value and very comfortable room with aircon.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Wonderful hosts, very accomodating. The breakfast was wonderful, much better than you usually get in France. The property is a charming old house with a garden terrace, it also has an indoor heated pool.
We had nine days in this nicely appointed apartment with many homely touches in a very old but interesting building. Ample space for a single couple or two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. However only one toilet. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Great location in the old town just around the corner from the Temple of Augustus. Highly recommend.
Exceptional cozy apartment that had everything you needed. very space.
absolutely super friendly lovely host couple. Jean Lois and Christina.
Good information about places to eat, attractions, shops, etc
fresh air a little higher on the slope and calm.
We would like to return again to this charming city and to the same apartment
We fell in love with this place. It's a hidden treasure. Perfect for calm down and relax in the nature. We slept in a tipi with pool, it was comfortable and cozy and we could start the next day with a perfect and delicious breakfast and a great view. The owners were absolutely friendly and great hosts. We didn't miss a thing and will come back for sure.

La Bâtie is a great place to be. We lived in the flat (not in the little tower), where we had a lot of space for us as well inside as outside on the private terrace. The flat has everything you need to feel at home. The view from the flat windows and from the terrace over the historic city centre and the river Rhône is just fantastic.
Jean greeted us very warmly and was there for all our issues - he is a perfect host.
The apartment is a one off and feels as if you are staying in your own piece of history. Jean is a great host and always happy to help and provide info in the local area. The view from the apartment and seating area is sublime and we spent many hours soaking it up with a nice bottle of wine. The centre of the town is easily reachable on foot and takes no more than a 5/10 min walk.
Great location and atmosphere. The apartment had everything one needs to survive :). When in town I would pick this apartment again. The host was responsive and helpful.
