The warm and welcoming styling of the room and the whole style and layout of the apartment. The winter garden room where I could sit and watch the birds outside. The food and fresh eggs were excellent. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful.

A lovely welcome from the host. Plenty of private parking . The owners have worked extremely hard on this property. Everything inside was wonderfully new and good quality. Our room was great. With a lounge area and small kitchen type area. The bedroom was good, all new and comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom included a spa bath as well as shower over . This as like the rest of the accommodation was very stylish. Our host couldn’t be more helpful. Initially making a booking for us in a nearby restaurant but then after finding I was to tired to go out she happily cancelled it and helped us order pizza, even taking me to collect it as delivery would have taken to long. We requested breakfast earlier than they had said but this to was no problem. We went down at the requested time and very thing was ready for us. Warm croissants, breads, cheese, yoghurts , cereals etc.
We are looking forward to our return stay on our trip home.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Elisa and Mathieu were go gracious as hosts, always there with an answer about where to go or what to see. They really made our stay a pleasure. The breakfast was wonderful and a perfect way to start each day. I loved the appointments of the rooms (bath products were amazing), coffee and tea of quality at the ready and the in-room water service was charmingly displayed. We also loved the location being outside of Tours in a smaller town but could easily access places we wanted to go. There was plenty to do within a short drive.
Very helpful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. Moved her own car in the street to give us a parking space. Lovely old property furnished throughout with antiques. Comfortable large bed with ensuite bathroom with a shower. Secluded garden to sit in and very peaceful.
Absolutely amazing breakfast. Home-made cakes and jam, cheese, ham, fresh fruit salad, and even offered a fried egg!
Highly recommended.
La Closerie is part house and part cave with very interesting decorations. The hostess is charming and couldn’t have been more hospitable. The breakfast is delicious and generous. We had no trouble parking in the street directly outside.
la Scarlatta is the one to go for dinner.
Location great, lovely courtyard where we could have our takeaway pizza and glass of wine (Florence recommended pizza restaurant in the village). Courtyard very private and quiet. Florence lovely lady, introduced us to her dogs they were very friendly. breakfast very nice. Florence had made a fresh fruit salad with apricots, figs and raisins. Croissants and fresh bread rolls with home made jams. Lovely visit with a lovely host.
Gorgeous room, beautifully appointed. The hosts were absolutely charming, and gave us such a warm welcome. off road parking and a very quiet location. Fabulous breakfast, possibly the best in France! - pancakes, apple tart, fruit salad, croissants, egg custard, yogurt, apple compote etc…
Such a lovely setting for a night in this wine region of France after doing a tour of the Cave de Vouvray. The hostess was welcoming and attentive, the room comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast serve outside was delightful containing many homemade products! You couldn't ask for more. Really hope to return one day.
