Location was fab, just a short walk into Ashby and good road links for visiting attractions. Simon is a brilliant host, always smiling and helpful. Breakfast (cooked by Simon) was great, cooked to perfection. Very clean room, great shower, always plenty of hot water.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The bungalow was situated in a nice quiet area that was very close to Ashby Town Centre. The Ivanhoe Sports and Social club was situated a short walk away. The locals here were very welcoming and friendly. We met the hosts who were very nice and they left us a few essential items for our arrival which was greatly appreciated.
The family room rate is fantastic for our purpose of having somewhere to rest half way on our journey. The breakfast was simply superb and got an 11/10 from our son! The hosts are very pleasant and nothing seems a bother. The place is dog friendly which is amazing. We went to The Beeches pub as recommended and we weren't dissapointed. Very quiet rooms
We came for one night for an event at the Bath Gardens. We did not expect the room to be ready when we arrived at 12 pm, but it was. The host was really friendly. The guest house was centrally located, mere minutes walk from the town centre. The beds were very comfortable and there were tea and coffee facilities. The ensuite seemed as if it had been recently refurbished. The shower was nice. Breakfast was delicious with various cooked options available and a continental option.
A lovely older property with large, well appointed rooms. Quiet location with secure off road parking. Host is welcoming and prepares a great breakfast. Very good value. Close to Donington Park
