Good Breakfast, freshly made. Old property but well maintained. Very friendly & helpful owners. There is a river / stream right outside the hotel, you can probably spend some time on the sides in spring / summer.

The wood flooring in the hallway is incredibly creaky and loud. The guests across the hall were in and out of their room for two hours at night, keeping me awake because of the creaky floor just outside my door. It was incredibly disruptive. I’m sure it’s an older building but that alone would keep me from sleeping there again. Everything else was fine.

Small but big enough. Big plus was that apart from the usual kettle, coffee and tea there was even milk in the fridge. Bed, very comfy. Warm (heating on). And loved in particular the hot shower with big overhead shower head. It was actually a wet room.

The location was perfect for wandering around the cute town of Betws-y-coed and certainly for enjoying the area around Snowdonia. The house and our room were very cozy, quaint and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful opportunity to visit with the other interesting guests. We really enjoyed our first Welsh rarebit!
