I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Karen’s place! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome and comfortable. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could possibly need.
Karen went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, providing great local tips and always being responsive whenever I had a question.
I couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch experience. Thank you, Karen, for making my trip unforgettable!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The mousetrap inn is in a great location for the main square in Bourton. Just a short walk away. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a fire which meant that we had go to a different hotel for breakfast which was fine. The pub is very quaint and welcoming but due to no restaurant it meant the bar area was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Location was perfect and room was clean, bright and quiet. David was a great host offering lots of suggestions and assistance for places to dine and sites to visit.
Quiet yet easy access to the city centre. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The toilet in our room was a bit blocked and the host was there to sort it immediately. The room was clean and cozy supplied with everything plus sweets. The bathroom was spacious and bright. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally delicious with plenty of options available. Top B&B, second to none!
Dave is an excellent host making guests feel very welcome and relaxed. The rooms are exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. A good choice of breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal, toast and a substantial locally sourced cooked option. Plenty of parking at the guesthouse with an easy walk to to the town. Would not hesitate to recommend Coombe House the attention to detail is second to none.
Stunning place to stay in a gorgeous village! Amazing staff especially Corrinne!! Warm , friendly and such a great host!! Fantastic breakfast!! Pleasure too have stayed at this love guesthouse!!
