Welcomed with a friendly smile and warmth. The room had everything we needed for the one night we stayed. Very clean and cosy. Lovely views. The guest house was only a ten minute walk from the main town centre. If I were to stay in Bowness-in-Windermere, I would stay here again. A very reasonable price per night for the location.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms.

During our recent stay at Meadowcroft Guest House, my partner and I were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional experience provided. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm and friendly demeanor made us feel truly welcome. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and large windows that offered a delightful view of the surrounding countryside. The en-suite bathroom was well-appointed, complete with complimentary toiletries. We also appreciated the in-room tea and coffee making facilities, which added a cozy touch to our mornings. Although we didn't realize that breakfast was included in our stay and therefore didn't partake, we've since learned that Meadowcroft offers a generous full English breakfast in their comfortable dining room. The guest house's location in Ings Village is ideal for exploring the Lake District. We found it conveniently situated for visits to nearby attractions, and the ample parking provided made our excursions hassle-free. Overall, our experience at Meadowcroft Guest House was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of comfortable accommodations, attentive staff, and a prime location makes it a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the Lake District. We wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating and look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely charming guest house. Super clean and comfortable. great location. Couldn’t fault it. Hosts Adam and Symmoane are very welcoming and their hospitality is second to none. would highly recommend. We knew that there was no cooked breakfast but I’m glad that didn’t put us off because the continental breakfast was beautiful and plenty to chose from and all fresh. The home made jars of yoghurt and berries were delicious.
