The place was spotless. Breakfast excellent as we do not particularly want a cooked breakfast.
Nice touches in the room, cake, sweets and biscuits. Plenty of milk ( which is unusual in many places)
Sockets near a mirror ( for hairdryer and straighteners)

Sarah and Ant goes above and beyond for your stay at theirs. They answered any questions I had promptly prior to arrival and very accommodating during the whole stay too! They provide a lot of complimentary things - from food to toiletries :) aswell as the small touches like ear buds.
The location is really good for shopping and activities. Theres a lovely golf course behind the house which we explored one evening.. was very peaceful and would be amazing for picnic in the Summer! If we were staying more days I’d also take advantage of the Summer House in the garden.

The history, comfort, bed, claw foot bath,, breakfast, and the host. Everything was fabulous! We especially appreciated the host sharing some of the history of the house.

The hosts are very kind and helpful, the breakfast was really good, freshly made by them in the morning.
Th price was really affordable although the location is quite isolated, operfect if you are looking for something in a peaceful and quiet area.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The double room situation downstairs and overlooking the back garden, quiet and tucked away.
Cooked quality breakfast was excellent, hot and well presented. Cake was provided on arrival in room, a nice welcome extra. Janice was pleasant and friendly, nothing too much trouble.
Thank you!
A comfy room with lots of choice tea and coffee and home made cake as a lovely welcome. Breakfast choice was very good and well presented. Great hosts.
Location ideal quiet with good facilities nearby. Easy access from motorway/main road.
Lots of history to explore and good walks.
Good meal at Castle Inn opposite the Lychgate.
Comfortable room with great additional touches.
Good breakfast choices and very tasty .
Easy to contact the host if needed.
Lovely decorated guesthouse, with small things that make a difference (home-baked cake on arrival, good choice of teas in the room, conditioner...). Great breakfast with various options and very accommodating host. Caldicot was just a resting spot for the night, I wouldn't recommend visiting the town, but at least this stay made it more pleasant.
