Situated just 36 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Capernwray House provides accommodation in Carnforth with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking.

Capernwray House is a lovely place to stay with excellent facilities, in a beautiful part of north Lancashire. The room we stayed in, (Kingfisher) was both spacious and very well equipped, with everything you could ever need. The breakfast was superb, with an extensive menu to cater for all tastes, and plentiful. Thank you Mel for making our stay so memorable.

'Bloomfield' at stayBOOM is set in Lancaster, 38 km from North Pier, 39 km from Winter Gardens Conference Centre, and 39 km from Blackpool Tower.

Either much has changed since some of the previous negative reviews, or the previous guest didn't understand. I got a message immediately after booking, with a code for the main door, and a code for my bedroom door. I didn't speak to a single member of staff the entire time, and that was exactly what I was looking for. If you need a place to stay with minimal fuss, but ensure good levels of cleanliness and facilities, you literally couldn't ask for more.

There was only a third of a toilet roll in the bathroom and no bag in the bin, which is a bit grim for the cleaner as much as anything. Perfect location but severe smell of drains on entering the property. Couldn’t smell it on the top floor though. It was very clean and met our needs perfectly.

They booked my room twice and by midnight, I was told to get out . I came from London and was tired, they took money but didn’t returned my money and I was told to leave because they did booking twice. I have to leave because I am a lady and can’t stay with an unknown man. Horrible mistake. Never ever book this accommodation.i lost money and by night I was on Road and it was not my fault. Their mane get did nothing but stop taking my call after telling me that someone before me had checked in and I have to look for another place. I warn you don’t book this place. They don’t take any responsibility. Worse experience in my life and I didn’t get refund.

Boasting sea views, Sunsets, Sandylands Prom Morecambe features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 400 metres from Morecambe Promenade Beach.

Just a beautiful room and so well presented and even had freshly baked cakes and biscuits waiting beside the coffee. Bed was super comfy with extra pillows and blankets if needed, but we had to turn the heating down it was so warm in there. Bathroom has a big shower with loads of hot water. Fantastic seating area outside and at night sitting out there hearing the sea and watching millions of stars above was a peach. Met the lady who owns it and she was so nice and friendly - and cares that you have a good stay. I'd stay there again for sure :-)

Great location for accessing Capernwray diving centre, the west coast e.g. Morecambe and of course the Lakes! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room very comfortable with lots of lovely extras such as bottled water and a range of hot drink choices. The meals served in the restaurant are delicious. Hosts went out of their way to provide us an early breakfast with plenty of choice on offer including both hot and cold options. A lovely stay and would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

The couple that ran the pub were fantastic hosts! The pub itself had a great atmosphere - not too rowdy and not too quiet, just right. Lovely locals and very welcoming. The breakfast was great, good ingredients and well cooked, we were just sad that we didn’t get to sample the other food as we heard good things from the locals! The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, we slept very well.

We liked everything about this Bed and Breakfast accommodation. it was our first visit but it won’t be our last as it’s also in one of our favourite locations in England. Mel, the host, is both charming and professional. she has thought of everything you might need and offers a breakfast menu that is a little different from the standard offerings.
