The room was huge, bathroom luxurious… with a stunning view of the garden from the bath . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in… top notch linen too. Very good continental breakfast available… lots of choice and fresh strawberries too! A warm welcome when we arrived .

Black Lion is located in Surbiton and features a garden. Well situated in the Surbiton district, this accommodation offers a bar and a restaurant. Free WiFi is featured.

I'm only going public with this after trying unsuccessfully to contact the owners 4 times and being ignored.

A home from home feeling, great location and a lovely breakfast. The bed was really comfortable and the room was quiet. I did wake up to something scratching/eating something in the floor boards. This did not hinder my stay though

Great location, in a green and leafy area, but central to so many points of interest. Friendly and welcoming staff, who were happy to go the extra mile to help. Good food, served in a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. Really lovely bedroom, very quiet and peaceful. Excellent service and good value. My mum and I had a terrific stay and are planning another trip.

Breakfast is served downstairs in the pub and is hearty and generous. Room was generous and well kept with lovely decor. Good size bathroom and high shower head for tall people. Rooms are quiet even if the pub is hosting a live event or showing sport.
