Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features....

We had a fantastic stay at Lake View, it was a great location. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making for a truly relaxing experience. The breakfast was really nice, served across the way at a distillery. One of the standout aspects was how pet-friendly the guest house was—welcoming without any lingering pet smells, which was greatly appreciated.! They ensured there were nice touches (dog biscuits, a kettle in the conservatory, umbrellas and picnic blankets to borrow. The staff were warm, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Lake View for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay!

A recently renovated guest house, Rooms at the Apple Pie offers accommodation in Ambleside. This guest house features free private parking, luggage storage space, and free Wifi.

The first time we had stayed at the Apple Pie and it won't be our last. Excellent location with on the door parking. Staff welcomed us and explained the layout. We had the attic double room, so it was cozy, clean, and quirky. All amenities you need for your stay.

Ashberry Guest House enjoys a location in Penrith, 5 miles from Askham Hall and 20 miles from Derwentwater. This 4-star guest house offers private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking.

Room was a little small but to be honest my older sister and I slept in twin beds and we both agreed that our night was the best sleep we had on our 2 week trip all over the UK. Our host Phil was awesome. He made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet location, 5 min drive from Aira Force waterfall. Historic inn. Well-cooked, homely food. Great staff. New owner is charming, and keen to get client's views on any improvements, and to make the hotel environmentally sustainable.

Great location, especially if you travel with a dog. There are some farm animals nearby but they are fenced. The cottage is spacious, quiet so you can easily relax. Since there is a kitchen you can cook there which is great. When we visited it was Sep and was warm so no complaints about that!
