In a peaceful corner of rural Cheshire, The Pheasant Inn offers wonderful views, cozy log fires and a pretty courtyard garden. The inn is located in the scenic Peckforton Hills.

Our room was absolutely beautiful (Tatton) spotlessly clean and warm
Hotel was lovely very clean but nowhere for residents to sit and relax with a drink as all the tables were set for dinning .
All the food we had was very nice except the beef stroganoff, I expected it to be cream sauce but instead it came with a tomato sauce which was unpleasant, think that should be explained on the menu ,
I was offered an alternative but by then my husband had finished his main , nobody checked back on us .
Views are amazing
Staff lovely
Breakfast delicious
We had a lovely stay but wouldn't rush back because no relaxing area.

From the start Sal at reception was so hospitable and comical.
I think his name was Nick who showed us to our room, again very pleasant. We only stayed for one night and the room was up to a good standard (No 41).
Some reviews raise concern over the shower cubicle but I found it ok. It had hot water and a good pressure so yes I was happy and clean.
Value for the price and a great location for staying in Chester and walking around the city.
We will be back.👏👏

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
It really was a weekend escape.

Friendly and helpful hosts,
Very thoughtfully planned accommodation.
Lovely rooms. Great location (quiet, rural). Nice atmosphere in the Inn.
