I was only there for a single night, but the place was scrupulously clean, there were a couple of snacks and the makings for Tea and Coffee, an actual Roll Top Bath and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I love the original features of the cottage that had been preserved and place the place a real character. Kind of wish I had to stay longer but if i'm coming back to the area for work again I will actively try to stay here again.
In the heart of Dunwich, this traditionalinn offers home-cooked food and real ales. There is free private parking, and the beach is a brief walk from The Ship.

Breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely. Host was polite and attentive
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely hosts, accommodation beautiful, comfy and clean. Great location, lovely and quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful. Also Milly the dog was very cute and welcoming. X
A gem of a B&B. A clean, warm, comfortable ,quiet room with everything you need for your visit.. Delightful hosts and a delicious breakfast all made for a happy, relaxing stay. Looking forward to a return visit. Many thanks.
Just what we needed, comfy and quiet.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good.
Recommended to our friends in Leston and will book again.
the whole place was charming - quaint, lovely flowers in the garden. Good location. Leiston Abbey is wonderful as is Aldeburgh a favourite, Minnsmere is close - Orford is great too
Quiet, cosy little "granny flat" in a private garden on a peaceful residential estate.
Freshly prepared breakfast in main house by amiable discrete host. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
Car parking on property.
We had a lovely stay at The Garden Room. Being in a separate building to the house meant we could come and go without feeling we might be disturbing the hosts, and as result, the room itself was very quiet. Nice view out over the garden and fantastic breakfast each morning - we didn't need lunch! We will return if visiting the area again! Its a10-15 minute walk to good local pub for dinner and well located for visits to the surrounding towns and tourist spots. Parking on their driveway also included.
