Had a perfect stay here for one night. Room was very comfortable and clean, hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too. Will definitely book here when in the area next.

Rooms were fine but we were surprised to find the private bathroom across the hall from the room. Fellow travellers’ room was smaller however the bathroom was all inclusive.

We had a wonderful stay in Winterton, the location is tranquil and picturesque, the accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host were wonderful, friendly and accommodating, and provided great recommendations of what to explore in the area. The home cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with many options to choose from. Would highly recommend!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The breakfast was a marvel. As guests we had perhaps 8 different menu options to choose from, concluding with a vary ample breakfast, which was my choice. Perfect.. The personality and charachter of our hosts was so open and gracious that I would be happy to call them friends. Nothing artificial about them. The property was well conceived, designed and maintained. Great location. What's not to praise.
Very nice cottage in a quiet environment. Superb Pub/Restaurant just 20 metres away.
About 45min from Oban and the same distance to Castle Inveraray.
Other nice sites nearby.
Very helpful Host, fast reply.
Beautiful and well kept house in a great location for our trip.
The host was fantastic, funny, accommodated our late check in and provided us with a great breakfast.
Great breakfasts, Host Elle and Jim are great! We were there only for a night before getting on the ferry to Islay but it was very comfortable, quiet and quaint.
