The room was gorgeous, and the host wonderful. It is in a great location to visit many places including Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This is a well-maintained old mansion with rooms. We saw the host briefly when we checked in and after that we had a quiet room to ourselves. It had a nice sitting area in the room. The bathroom was down the hall. We had it to ourselves but it could be shared depending on how many guests they have. The Hedgefield House has a long and interesting history. I thought that it was a comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation. We had dinner at a really nice restaurant next door.
This Gold Award winning family-run guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation overlooking Whitley Bay Park and 400 metres from the sandy beach.

The view from the bedroom of the harbour was fantastic. Comfortable bed. Friendly owner.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location, 5 min walk crossing the river into characterful Morpeth town center, with it's mixture of historic buildings & modern shops plus traditional pubs & restaurants.
Carlisle park was five minute walk away too. Pretty riverside walk.
We used the house to visit the Northumberland coastline & famous castles.
The house is on a very attractive, very quiet street.
Great location and comfy. Great night sleep and quiet. Lots of space for a rental. Well equipped. Host was responsive.
Morpeth is a lovely place, great park, scenic and some really good restaurants and places to drink and eat.
The hosts had gone out of their way to provide for guests comfort and to cater for their tastes in breakfast. There was a good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries as well as full cooked breakfast if you wanted. Vegetarians were well catered for as well.
Highly recommended! Beautiful suite in a great location with everything you need including a very comfortable bed, functional kitchen, and big bathroom. The baskets of goodies were a special bonus that allowed us to taste some products from around the region. Sarah is a great host, very helpful and welcoming.
A really lovely apartment on the lower ground floor of the bed and breakfast. Great use of the space, it had a living area, bedroom with en suite and a small kitchen area. It also has a lovely courtyard, which will be great for summer evenings. The owner was also lovely and a great host. Will definitely stay again.
