United KingdomWarm welcome and informed me of meal times and where to go to find my room as I've never been here before.
I went for a special on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed the Game Casserole with a leek dumpling and root mash.
A full breakfast was also had which I really enjoyed and set me up for the morning.
Thanks again and if I'm in the area again, I would stay again.

The bed was huge and super comfy. I had a lovely relaxing stay. The staff were all lovely and nothing was to much trouble. They don't do evening meals which I was aware of before I stayed but there is plenty of local placed to eat. Beds were comfortable and rooms very quiet, we were not disturbed at all. Exceptional full English breakfast included in the price. The room was a good size with a decent size bathroom with a shower. There is parking outside the pub and the guesthouse is about 20 minutes drive from Sunderland Stadium of light. The White House is absolutely spotless - room was so comfy - nothing to fault at all. Geoff is so down to earth and had a great little chat with him, Met another lovely couple while staying also!
