Stow House is a former vicarage located in the Yorkshire Dales. It has views over Wensleydale and Bishopdale, and over two acres of private grounds.

The breakfast was excellent and really good quality food in a super setting with great views. Our hostess was very friendly and we enjoyed great conversation with her on many subjects.

The location was very convenient for the purpose of our travel. We were made very welcome and our little dog also enjoyed the stay. There were items for breakfast available on a help yourself basis which we didn't expect.

Housed in a historic building, Homelands Guest House offers accommodations with a garden and free Wifi in Barnard Castle, a 10-minute walk from Bowes Museum.

The hosts (Glenda and Daniele) were wonderful and very kind. We had two rooms: two of us were in the garden room, which was absolutely wonderful. I stayed in the single person room (room 1) which was quite small, but equipped with every amenity and comfortable. Both rooms were on the garden and very quiet at night. The breakfast was the best English breakfast I have ever had in many trips to the UK! Parking on the street was free, and it is 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Great location on the edge of the village for this modern stone built house. Parking space right outside and plenty of space inside. The property is on a small cul-de-sac so no traffic noise and quiet neighbours.

Great location. Rooms a little tired, but for the price paid amazing value. It was very clean and plenty if tea and coffee available in the room. Continental breakfast plus English breakfast available, or both. Breakfast was amazing. Evening meals were beautiful. All four of us ate a different meal, all were great. Great bar, very relaxed. Coal fire! Great traditional pub. What's not to like. Nice quiet area at the rear to lock cycles up, with a hose pipe to use for washing if required.
