Set just 31 km from Chester Zoo, Pentre Cerrig Country House offers accommodation in Llanferres with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking.

The most comfortable bed, pillows, bedding. We chose the delux double with stunning views. Charmian was the most helpful host-booked us a table in a local pub for our evening meal. The breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much bother. Rebecca was super friendly. Over all a perfect stay. Highly recommend. We will book again. Also recommend the Llangollen circular hike. 6 miles with beautiful scenery.

Friendly host with very good communication. The room is an annexe on a house on a housing estate. However, it does not overlook any other property and has lovely views. It is a perfect location for visiting Llangollen, the acquaduct, Chirk castle and many other places of interest. The bed was comfortable to sleep in an clean linen and towels. Great location. Really like the idea if a community owned pub. Good mattresses. Good to have self- catering facilities though the pub food was fine. Quiet.

Charming period cottage with lots of old beams. The cottage courtyard was a bonus and being off the street was quiet. We enjoyed meeting the host who gave details of the area.
