The owners, Dani and Cameron were so kind and welcoming and full of great information of things to do in their area and restaurants to go to. Appreciated the heads up regarding reserving restaurants in advance for dinner. The breakfasts were superb, one morning was the pancakes with berries, and the next morning was a Scottish breakfast. Nice to have a living room to relax in in the evening and meet and chat with the other guests. We loved our time there, and would definitely return.

Beautiful location and well fitted out building with a historical feel. Comfy bed with stunning views.
Mostly foreign staff lacked awareness of local activities like nearby hiking trails. Sauna costs were high so we skipped the sauna. Food was okay, not quite classic Scottish, a lot of Indian dishes on the menu. Otherwise a memorable stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations in every way. Sheila has been so kind to me and incredibly helpful in every way. I have felt so comfortable in this homestay and everything has been so clean. This place truly felt like a home. Sheila is very knowledgeable about the surroundings, she will have a lot op tips for you if you would ask. The location is also perfect: close to Ford William and Glencoe, and it is in between Glasgow and Isle of Skye. It will be perfect for any roadtrip. I only stayed for two nights, but just for the accommodation alone I wish I could have stayed longer. This place truly is a high recommendation for your roadtrip to Scotland. A 5 star review for a 5 star stay!

Whirlpool was great - made loads of bubbles but can only be used until 9:30pm because of neighbors.
Host was great. Location was a little smaller than expected and didn’t have the little electrical fireplace seen in the pictures.
Breakfast oats, coffee and tea and a kettle were provided which was lovely.
Room is attached to the main house which wasn’t a problem for us. Host was happy to heat something in the microwave for us.
No fridge available.
Please be aware that the bed is in fact a couch - however it has a very comfortable mattress on top so we didn’t have a problem with it.

Great place to stay if you are passing through. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage but no elevators obviously because it’s a house none the less it had cute decor with the highland cows all over. Brandy was there to greet us when we arrived. Great location, walking distance to some restaurants. They have parking which is a plus! Would stay here again.
With wonderful views across Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills, Alltonside Guest House offers cozy rooms with free Wi-Fi. Fort William center is just a mile away.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We booked at the last minute and got lucky! Simon and Marie are lovely hosts, the room was comfortable and quiet and breakfast was delicious!
Spean Bridge is a really quaint village and there is so much to see in the area.
Great location, Steve allowed us to put our motorcycle in their garage, lovely couple, spacious room, very clean, comfy bed, quiet, we had a great nights sleep, breakfast was delicious, shame we only stayed the one night.
We had something to eat at the station in just around the corner, and we would advise booking , we managed to get a table even tho it was busy
Great location and value. The breakfast was superb and Margaret the host was the most lovely and accommodating person. Great parking, lovely tea and biscuits in the rooms and an amazing view over the mountains nearby.
lovely hostel located quite near invergarry. it is a nice older building with surrounding stables and land, and is kept up nicely inside and furnished as a hostel. i give it an extra high rating because of the meals offered by staff there, including breakfasts, dinners and packed lunches which we really appreciated. this is a hostel that offers a great hostel experience in a great location at a great value.
very warm and cosy, great location for exploring and walking, only 14 minutes to fort William and a further 10 to Glen Coe.
great hosts who supplied everything you needed from some drinks to snacks and breakfast items to get you started.
Will return here next year for sure
Lovely B&B with wonderful hosts, warm hospitality, comfy bed and delicious breakfast! Quiet location with stunning views on Grey Corries. As I was walking the Great Glen Way Marjorie and Willie were incredibly helpful with giving me lifts to a restaurant and back to the start of next day's walk. Can highly recommend this guesthouse!
