We had a lovely one night stay at Old Thatch Bambers Green. The unit was clean and very well equipped. It had everything you needed and more. Big thanks to our lovely hosts, Angela and Steve, who were very helpful and even went out their way to make sure that we are happy and satisfied.

Beautiful lodging that is comfortably furnished, and a well stocked kitchen with several drinks and snacks. The location is very convenient to Stansted airport, only about 5 minutes away by car. Our host was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! I had a brief stay for a local meeting, which required some follow-up work that I was able to do right at the cottage. It was a delight to look out over the fields, and the cottage was stocked with everything one could possibly need - from juices, beer, wine, and cheeses to antipasti, snacks, cakes, eggs, milk, and, of course, tea and coffee. And that’s just the beginning! The hosts have truly gone above and beyond. Thank you so much 🙏

Des is a lovely host and so helpful. The house is lovely and spacious, our bedroom was huge with a lovely big bath and views across the pasture. Its a great location for Epping and The Barns (weddings).

Such a cute room with lots of space that had everything we needed for our nights stay. The bed is very comfortable. We loved the mini fridge, and this place was decorated wonderfully. Nice touches everywhere. Very comfortable.

Staff was very good, place is quite and relaxing, otherwise all good and met the purpose of my stay. Breakfast and other facilities were good.
