A perfect Caribbean hideaway.
Thank you so much to Alex, Abigail and Alice for making us so welcome at Cabier and looking after us so well. For those looking for a tranquil, peaceful Caribbean experience with beautifully cooked local food every night, Cabier have you covered. We spent 11 nights here and the only time the menu was repeated was when we asked Abigail to make us jerk chicken again as it was so good! The beach is lovely, and protected by the reef so great for swimming. There are beach chairs for use by people staying at Cabier. Often you will have the place entirely to yourself, but it's a public beach so you will see local families enjoying their environment.
It may not be for everyone, the all inclusive resorts on the south coast are popular, however after a day at Grande Anse with a cruise ship in, we were delighted to return to the tranquility and rustic charm of Cabier.
Laidback, relaxed, great service, great food, independent, authentic - we loved it!

The Deluxe room was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom beautifully arranged, and there is a walk in wardrobe. The shared kitchen is clean and equipped with all your cooking needs. The views around the property and from the verandah are breathtaking, exactly what you need when relaxing. The host Marcus was very friendly, and helped with every need. I enjoyed my comfortable and relaxing stay at the Clubhouse and I will recommend this
accommodation.
Situated in DʼArbeau, Mitchell's Guest House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This guest house offers a terrace. At the guest house, every unit comes with a shared bathroom.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful location. Nature lovers paradise. I enjoyed my stay here more than a luxury 5 star hotel. Ingrid, Sophia, Thomas and Chris are great hosts and a lovely warm family. Ingrid cooks using fruits, vegetables and herbs freshly picked from her abundant garden. The sound of the birds and nature was exhilarating. This trip truly replenished my soul, I arrived burnt out from London and left feeling light and happy with a prong in my step
lovely hosts Ingrid & Thomas, beautiful garden, lots of birds, fabulous views out to the ocean from verandas, 15min walk to lovely sandy beach and adjacent ocean side cafe. Ingrid cooks fantastic local evening fare (mains for £15). Well fitted kitchen.
This is a Grenadian gem. Fabulous views & garden, 4 cabins, 15 min walk from isolated beach, 5 min to shop. Ingrid is best hostess and cook ever!! Home cooked fresh fish, £10-£15 1-2 course. 45min from airport, met by local Taxi Keith £36. Kitchen etc.
Ingrid & Thomas are wonderful hosts. The meals Ingrid prepared (at short notice sometimes) were exceptional. Lovely gardens and animals. Very homely and comfortable.
Great location. I love how discrete and private it was. The lodge is surrounded by lush nature and it’s possible to explore the coast and find local gems, such as an abandoned old village facing the ocean. the food was really good and the staff super friendly.
The track to Cabier requires a little time to negotiate, but the location is beautiful - as they would say in Grenada, take your time. Abigail's cooking is absolutely delicious. No menu, just choose chicken or fish, and she will produce food of restaurant quality. Her mahi-mahi in passion fruit sauce was wonderful. Breakfast too was very good, and substantial enough to keep us going all day. Very peaceful beach, good snorkeling when sea quiet enough.
