The family is so sweet and welcoming, amazing hospitality! Besides that, literally everything was above expectations for us - the food was wonderful, the room had everything we needed and had a relaxing ambiance, the village itself is also very nice.. Simply a great place to stay in.

Tamara (the host) is a wonderful woman! We arrived late (around 9 p.m. and we were really hungry) but she cooked for us great khachapuri. The wine was also great (I'd say the best from home wines that I have tasted before).
The breakfast was really great. Almost all are home made, and it's really valuable nowadays.
Tamara is a very hospitable person, and you're feeling yourself here as a wanted guest. It's really like a visit of far and kind relatives 😄
100% I can recommend this place, especially if you are on the way to Omalo

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the city center. The experience was truly comfortable, as we had the entire place to ourselves at that time.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained.
The shared kitchen on the first floor was well-equipped with all the necessary dishes and utensils. I believe this place is perfect for family getaways, as the peaceful setting allows you to fully unwind.
The price was exceptional, especially considering the hotel's features and location.

Comfy big bed, facilities to make tea/coffee/food storage, 15 minute walk from the center, great shower. The host was very kind. She helped us organize a shared taxi to tiblisi and even brought me cake when I mentioned that I was making coffee in the morning. Highly recommend staying at guest house Poligloti!!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse in the heart of Telavi. The interior is beautiful and the owners are lovely. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Room was spacious and clean. Otherwise, the place was cozy. Dinners and breakfasts were great. And 10 points go to Lena, she was the most amazing host of the inn.
Everything was nice, if not spectacular, from the rooms to the garden to the common kitchen and bathrooms.
My host even made sure I could find a driver to take me to Omalo.
Guesthouse Alvani is a wonderful place to stay. The garden is a very lovely set up area as well as the terrasse and the house. The hosts are very kind and helpful in every way. They have an authenic Tusheti family background and know everything about the area. The host Ms Naira is a cook and prepares the best food ever! We have not eaten so good on our whole journey in Georgia so far! It is the perfect place to rest and load up your battery before going to Tusheti :)
Excellent location when you planning a trip to the Tusheti region.
Modern, clean, everything is absolutely OK.
The garden and environment is in a quiet location.
Possibility to park in front of the house.
Internet worked great.
Separate kitchenette as well as separate outdoor seating.
Super clean and comfortable guesthouse. Definitely ask to have the breakfast - it was amazing! The hosts were very kind and let us use the washing machine for laundry which was much appreciated after a week of travelling! There is a spacious communal lounge area and lovely garden to relax in. The beds were super comfortable. Great value for money. You will need a car to reach it - it's about a 25 minute drive from Telavi.
Very comfortable and cozy guesthouse. Lena is a great host - and her homemade meals (I ate dinner + breakfast here) are delicious! Big garden, perfect for a chat in the evening or for waiting for your pickup to Tusheti.
Highly recommended!
Very nice accommodation in quiet area, short driving distance from numerous attractions. What made this property unique is the host, Lena, and her exceptional cooking skills. We were eating at the property and everything we had was a masterpiece! We even learned how to prepare Khinkali as Lena does cooking masterclasses!
