Amazing food and lively host. It’s probably the best taste I’ve ever had in my guesthouse/hostel stays. The property is also on the way to adishi with a nice view.

Dodo was very sweet, kind, welcoming, made us very delicious food, the house was very peaceful, we had restful sleep. Entire atmosphere took me back to my childhood when I visited my grandparents.

As of September 22nd, this guest house was 80 laris which included a bed, dinner, and breakfast. Just a heads up because going in reason other reviews I thought it would only be 60 laris. The shower is nice and hot and one of the only places where the shower isn’t connected to the toilet without a door which was nice. The dinner was plentiful and you got a lot of food. The kids are fun to play with and we enjoyed a night of card games with the children. I would recommend this place for a first night on the trail.

I recomend this spot, the hotel is in a very quiet place, where you will not be disturbed by noise if you want to rest. The beautiful mountains of Svaneti and the pride of Svaneti Ushba peak can be seen from the hotel rooms (you won't get a similar view from most of the hotels in Mestia). The host and his family are very attentive and nice people. If you need to plan a trip within Svaneti, you can ask and they will help you to plan, and they also know many people who will help you spend your time pleasantly (transportation, tour guides, local cuisine, etc.). Thank you very much for the warm hospitality and unforgettable time
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
