Such a nice place! David and his family are so kind, hospitable and open. We didn’t rent a car and David‘s dad drove us to the hotel and back💔 He told us lots of interesting stories about his hiking experience and treated to wine, coffee and sweets. David‘s mom organized comfortable space for us to feel warm and cozy.
I knew that that locals are amazing but they exceeded my expectations! I would love to stay here in summer to visit many other local spots, go hiking and enjoy local food.
Thank you so much for taking care of us and for your kindness! ❤️🇺🇦

The staff are friendly.
The room was OK but little space to put the luggages. The owner made the liquor by his own, you can taste and buy if you like.

As you might guess from the price, this is no 5-star hotel. If you are looking for luxury, there are other options in Mazeri that might suit you better. Instead, with Mila you will find a family that will welcome you to their home. They will give you plentiful and delicious breakfasts, filling both your bellies and your hearts. We had a bed, and access to a clean toilet which was all we needed. Their beautiful garden full of apple trees was a big plus. We already miss Mila and her family, we had a great stay with them.

Since the nights in late September in Svanetia are pretty cold and might also be rainy, I was surprised in a good way by the fact that the guest house was big and warm. The view from our window was exceptional! Even if you do not want to hike, you still can see some beauty. The staff was nice and friendly, considered our food preferences, including the vegan diet, and prepared breakfast for us early in the morning. They are pet-friendly. Keep in mind that they have dogs, cows and horses, which might be important for reactive or anxious pets. We had no problem with them and my dog enjoyed her time in Peak Mazeri. I think this guest house might fit both people who come for hiking or climbing and people who would rather spend their time in a less adventurous way.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful guesthouse during our family vacation in Georgia. As a family of eight, including six children, we were looking for a quiet and convenient location that could comfortably accommodate us all. And we found just that and more at this charming guesthouse in Lenashi village.
Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful and clean facilities. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, it was the breathtaking views from the terrace that truly stole our hearts.
Lali and Georgi, the hosts of this guesthouse, proved to be exceptional ambassadors of Georgian hospitality. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we felt genuinely welcomed and immediately at home. Lali's culinary skills are unmatched in the Svaneti region, and we were fortunate enough to experience her delicious meals. Each dish was exceptional and left us longing for more. Georgi, on the other hand, was a wealth of knowledge about the area and provided us with excellent recommendations on things to do and see nearby.
Overall, our stay at this guesthouse was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. It is a hidden gem, tucked away in the tranquil village of Lenashi. We were blown away by the breathtaking views, and most importantly, the warm and genuine hospitality of the hosts, Lali and Georgi. We cannot recommend this guesthouse enough and we are already planning our return trip.
GergHouse is located in Mestia, just 17 miles from Museum of History and Ethnography and 18 miles from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. With mountain views, this accommodation features a terrace.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
I just loved with ❤️everything! It’s really nice family guest house with really nice family. To sister and their sweet mother running around all the time. They baking fresh bread every morning with homemade pancakes, yogurt and lots of homemade Georgians food for dinner. Location of house perfect, front you have Ushba mountain and back amazing flowers mountains. Back of house there is hiking road with good marked . They help with everything and smile all the time. They can help with transport also from Mestia.

Additional options for breakfast and dinner - the food was very, very good and home-cooked by the friendly and hard-working hostess. The view is amazing, the valley beautiful. Very calm area (therefore no supermarket nearby). Be prepared to travel a short path on a graveled road.
I was in Svaneti 3 years ago and stayed in Mestia. this time there was decided to stop in a quieter place, without noise. The house of this family where we fixed two rooms, corresponded to our desires. the house was built according to the traditions of the Svans in two floors with stairs. Wood. Breakfast with delicious khachapuri and tea. The hostess cooked it VERY well. impossible to refuse )))
water from the mountains flowed in the yard, so clean and tasty that we took with us to Tbilisi in large bottles.
