United KingdomWe arrived in the evening having been delayed on our long journey by snow in the mountains. We were immediately greeted with a very warm Georgian family welcome. Dinner was prepared and served in the family kitchen - homemade Georgian recipes.
The beds were warm and comfortable and there is a shared bathroom. The family are extending their facilities for future guests.
Having been out birding early the following morning we returned to a wonderful breakfast including homemade breads, jams, yoghurt and cheese. Good chat with our friendly hosts.
The location is great for visits to local sites including the David Gareja Monastery.
We loved our stay. Thank you.

Bed sheets smelled fresh like flowers
Close to David Gareji Monastery and the Rainbow Hills.
The village feels like a big farm with cows, pigs and chickens running around the streets :D
