Excellent location, directly on the beach with white sand a palm trees. The sound of the waves from the sea was rthe only noice, we could hear. Walking distance from city centre, but it was nice to have a rented car, to move arond the sorrounding. Spaceous garden, what you share with 6-7 other rooms and apartments, which meant no inconvenience at all. Shower on the balcony was excellent.

We only stayed here one night before catching an early morning ferry out, but it was a nice play to stay within walking distance (if you're a good walker) of central Point-a-Pitre. As others have noticed, it's a little oasis in the city. The sitting area around the pool was lovely. There's also a common lounge area in the house. If you appreciate older, traditional architecture, that's a bonus too.

Entry code didn’t work and I had to find WiFi in the middle of the night to access previous messages. There is a wifi network, but no access info I could find and nobody was onsite the entire time I was there.
Ultimately, the air conditioning was strong, the room was clean, and I travel with my own pillow so that weird ones they hadn’t didn’t matter.
Place was rated a 7.7 when I stayed and I’d say that’s reasonable, but would put my particular stay at a 7.4.
It’s right next to the cruise terminal and there are lots of taxis there when a ship is in port. If there isn’t a ship, you can get a taxi from the bank on the main park that’s maybe 4 short blocks away.
