Superbly restored traditional house. I could live there for the rest of my life. Very quiet, discrete area off the main road ideal in my opinion as a base to explore the surrounding villages and not far from the sea or Chania. The style and attention to detail in my opinion is exceptional as while traditional there are plenty of stylish twists. The owner Yiannis was fantastic in every aspect of hospitality.

This is definitely one of my favorite accommodations in Chania during the years! The room was nicer than in the pictures (maybe they did renovate meanwhile?). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The window offered a view directly to the central fountain and to the lighthouse, breathtaking at any hour of the day or night! So the location couldn't be more central than this. In the evenings we would comfortably sit on the bed and listen to the live music played at the fountain. And even better, once you'd close the window, zero sounds from the street (best noise cancelling windows!). On some evenings there was noise from other guests, but hey, it's a city full of life, not a retreat, I can understand that. Pia, the host, was incredibly kind. She offered us water, homemade pastries (delicious!) and invited us every morning for coffee. Marble large stairs, for those carrying suitcases.
