There was so much scenic walking to the magnificent Vikos Gorge and cliff face monastery nearby. It was quiet, probably a consequence of the stone walls. The trailhead for the Vikos Gorge is almost at your door. Another highly recommended hike is a walk to the villages of Vitsa, Koukouli and Kipi. The room were beautifully decorated, gave us that cosy mountain feeling, and had all we needed for our four day stay. It was easy to find a parking spot, and the view of the mountains from our room on the first floor was so gorgeous and peaceful.
