I can’t say enough how amazing this place was. I usually stay at high end hotels because I’m nervous about the accommodations. Akrogialia Beach Rooms is better then many 5 star hotels in terms of location, cleanliness, service and property maintenance. This place is family owned and family run and you see it everyday. Dad takes care of the beach. Mom bakes for her guests and greets them everyday. Eleni was more than hospitable. She made you feel like you were part of her family. Her attention to detail and guest satisfaction was superb. She made sure that you were treated better than royalty. I left knowing that I made a new good friend for life. The rooms were super clean everyday and in pristine condition. They gave us an abundance of free water which was an amazing touch. They refreshed the toiletries and towels and bedding daily. The accommodation is right on the beach with calm waters and clean sand. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge. There are next door taverns and beach bars so you don’t need to go far. The main square is a 15 minute walk and provides excellent seafood restaurants and taverns with views of the water.
