All of the locals were very friendly, especially our host who could not have been more helpful - She even cooked us a delicious dinner one evening! The location, in a quiet village in the hills of Lefkada, but within reach (with a car) of several towns and remarkable beaches, was excellent, with a choice of eating places in the village. A picnic hamper was provided every morning, containing enough food for breakfast and lunch. The kitchenettes were located in a kind of shaded outdoor verandah running around the first floor apartments, which means there was no noisy hot fridge in the bedroom.
