The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable, the staffs were nice and helpful.
Thank you very much. We had a good rest since we were on long trip from Lombok. It was a very good option to stop on our way to Malang.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Amazing hosts - super helpful and kind. They even arranged a car to take us to the waterfall parking lot or a restaurant for dinner. Family atmosphere. Clean, AC rooms. Everything you need.
- great location for Tumpak Sewu
- the owner was nice enough to take us to the waterfall so we didn’t have to walk :)
- they provided great transportation to our next stop Cemoro Lawang
- free drinking water
- clean room and bathroom
- cute cats :)
You come for the multiple wonderful waterfalls and they are simply stunning. But what sets this Homestay apart is the host and his family/team. They try to support with everything to make your stay lovely, e.g. Arranging reliable and well-priced transfer, driving you without any extra charge to view points or dinner. Super price/value overall. They really go the extra mile!
Beautiful. Lovely hosts. Hot shower and very clean. The town has a football field and very friendly locals. Close to nearby waterfalls and view points.
Aris and Septi were wonderful hosts, always available to share tips and knowledge. They even arranged a scooter rental for us to get about easily.
The guesthouse is in a stunning area with salak and rice plantations which we enjoyed walking around.
Very cosy homestay, we had a bamboo bungalow with own bathroom. The bathroom was very basic (and a bit ugly), but the shower was hot and it was clean! So everything we needed :-) We had a nice breakfast (Nasi Goreng or sandwich), coffee and tea, and even a fruit basket. Very friendly host, he picked up our diner at the restaurant nearby when we were too tired to walk. It's quietly located in a side alley so not on the main road. Tumpak Sewu is at walking distance. Authentic surroundings.. Super stay!
