I booked the homestay last minute and checked in late, and the hosts were completely fine with it. They were very nice and welcoming. Great value for the money as well.

We are two korean women. Ari Cottage Ubud has many good things. These are Nice location, cozy atmosphere and warm-hearterd staffs! But one bad thing was an electic kettle pot looked to be cleaned. Except for this, this hotel was so cool and gave us comfortable staying experience in Ubud.

The staff and the owner are very kind. They act like they’re not there but if you need anything they simple appear to help you.
The location is perfect, far enough to have peace but close enough (you need to walk 10/15 minutes to the center) to do everything by foot.
My room was in front of the pool and it was the biggest room I had in Bali!

It was like paradise from the beginning. The room, the food, the surroundings…What made it exceptional is the staff, that was excellent and helped to fulfill all our wishes. We would definitely come back.

Villa Sonia was fabulous! We had the Balinese rooms and we loved the spaciousness and the balcony with the beautiful view over the pool. The staff are gorgeous too, every single one of them!
Location is superb! I have been to Ubud many times and have decided that this is the best location for getting around, restaurants and the less busy vibe.
Value for money is amazing too! We will be back.

Amazing and peaceful place. Great location near the city center. Quiet street. Clean and comfy!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I came to stay here because the reviews said the people were so warm and friendly. I was not disappointed. I arrived very late but the family was there to welcome me with smiles. It is a little outside of Ubud but perfect for where I needed to be the next morning. Even after only staying one night, the host was kind enough to drive me (and all my luggage!) to Green School the next morning. Thank you so much!
Having read the great reviews, I thought I would book this place and was met with a lovely, warm and kind family living in a beautiful home. It was very peaceful and calm. The breakfast and the fresh fruit from the garden was amazing, and I'm very appreciate of it. The man was very kind also and told me all about his garden which I was very interested about. There some cute dogs and cats roaming around, nice warungs maybe a 5 minute walk from the homestay. All in all, I really liked staying here.
Perfect very confortable to take some rest during your trip in this little calme village it’s perfect !
the hosts are very friendly and speak English!
You can see funny birds and one woman give some local food very cool !
