Villa Wastra is a very special place. A visit to Villa Wastra enables you to imagine Bali before the arrival of global tourism. Surrounded by nature, it's situation and views are spectacular. The amenities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Not least are the friendly staff and Ibu Mariah who takes care of every detail.

The villa is gorgeous !
They have more rooms, each with a name.
I stayed in room called Hujan, it is a separate room from the others, this gave me more privacy, peace, deep and restful sleep.

It was like paradise from the beginning. The room, the food, the surroundings…What made it exceptional is the staff, that was excellent and helped to fulfill all our wishes. We would definitely come back.

When we arrived to the hotel they said there was an error in the system and we don’t have an available room. This took them 45 min to find out and we been waiting at the reception. The receptionist was quite rude.

Was absolutly amazing. I highly recommend everyone that come to ubud visit ganesh.
Localization just 20 minutes walking. The clean was superb. The staff was so kind and they always care about us. Actually you feel like home in every aspects. This is a great experience when you try a bathroom literaly in the jungle. Good breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful, very tasteful rooms. Lovely garden and pool area. Quiet surroundings with beautiful rice paddy terraces. Very polite and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Villa Wastra is probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever been. It’s true that it is not a centric as other places in Ubud but if you’re looking for a place off the beaten track where you can unwind and just listen to the birds chirping, this is the place. We were lucky to be the only guests, which made the experience more unique. Besides, Maria, the host, was extremely helpful and caring. I actually cried when leaving the house.
In this review, I have only clicked the smileys with the big smile. The villas have a set-up that lets you fully experience the enchantment of nature in Bali. The tasteful and well thought-out interior confirms this unique experience. Big compliments to the host, hostess and their team!
cozy rooms, clean bathrooms with hot water shower, very good breakfast in the morning
but what is absolutely amazing is the beautiful garden in front of the rooms, neatly and carefully cultivated by our caring hosts - Wayan and his wife Emma
I have never met such nice hosts in my whole life…
The hotel and the back surrounding look good with the rice fields it s a shame the construction is cheap and prevents you from relaxing. The staff however is trying its best to make up for it…
Charming, quiet, peaceful. Not for those who want extravagance or are exacting in their demands. Staff speak little english but we managed and they are absolutely charming. A real jewel.
Bucu hidden guest house is a hidden gem! Especially if you are interested in meditation and mindfulness I can highly recommend to stay there. The location is wonderfully peaceful with a beatiful garden, the room is spacious and clean and, most importantly, Wayan and his wife are incredible hosts. Thank you Wayan for the time I had at your place, I will certainly come back!
This was our favorite place in Bali. A true gem, hidden in the middle of rice fields, 15 min away from Ubud by taxi. The location is remote and quiet, close enough to bustle that you can get there quickly, but far enough that you feel like you are really staying in the middle of the jungle. The entire villa complex is gorgeous and fun to explore, the (cheap) massages were fantastic, the villas themselves very private and excellently-fitted.
