I stayed here for 11 days while working remote and this is by far the best stay I have ever have. I’ve never experinced that kind of service before, I felt like a was a part of a familiy that took really good care of me 🤝
The food was also really amazing. I’ve tried a lot of restaurants in my life, but the food they made for me here is one of the best I’ve ever eaten.
Also the room was really big and of cource the view was ubeliveable! The gym had every thing that I really needed and it was amazing to have the option to rent a motorbike. With the motorbike I visit a lot of beautiful waterfalls and ricefields, so the location is also really good.
If you need a place to stay in Ubud for relaxation, work or traveling, this is by far the best place for you

The room and common areas were consistently clean and organized. Thw food was amazing also. The people who worked there were so lovely, helpful, and willing to share their culture with us.

We stayed in the rice fields and the setting of this place is truly spectacular. We experienced a level of peacefulness we didn’t know exists. Everything that is provided is incredible: breakfast; the room; the surrounding area; the pool. There is a local cafe/ restaraunt/ bar that is open all day round and is amazing.
We had no scooter or bike and they were incredibly generous with giving us lifts out of the rice fields as and when we needed it… without planning! This represents the level of care and attention the staff pay to making sure you are okay and happy.
The wifi went down at 9pm at night on one night and they sorted it within 2 minutes of me messaging.
You are not far from Bali and getting a taxi/ scooter is easy and quick. Highly recommend this place to anyone

Really nice couple with friendly staff running the accommandation. A really fair price. Had the room with the private pool. Sadly, the doors and windows were not to be closed fully, so every night we had ants, spiders, lizards, leechs, moskitos, bugs and many others. We know it is nature, but therefore we had no rest. Also, the pool was dirty and the breakfast was not so nice.

Everything! The room was amazing, very clean and spacious with the most insane view (we were first floor). Staff were exceptionally sweet and thoughtful and polite, they decorated our room for my partner’s birthday and got him a little desert with a candle and sang happy birthday which made his birthday extra special. They were always there if we needed anything, the food was lovely, the pool was great, the surroundings so so beautiful and not too far from the centre if you have a moped.

Villa Wastra is a very special place. A visit to Villa Wastra enables you to imagine Bali before the arrival of global tourism. Surrounded by nature, it's situation and views are spectacular. The amenities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Not least are the friendly staff and Ibu Mariah who takes care of every detail.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The properties spacious layout, secluded location, and serene environment were very much highlights and met our expectations of being away from crowds and constant traffic.
The daily breakfast was just delicious, always served with a generous smile and the properties host Pande, was the ultimate icing on the cake with his "nothing is too hard" attitude - such exceptional service and willingness to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible - AMAZING host !
Amazing location, with views of the paddy fields.
The hosts were incredible, so friendly and welcoming. They arranged massage in room, and provided excellent information on places nearby to visit.
The fireflies at night were stunning.
Food in the evening was gorgeous.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed for one night to take the morning hike up mount batur.
Beautiful scenery and very quiet place, lovely to relax.
Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were friendly.
They booked our mount batur trip and transport for our next denstination.
Amazing staff, amazing location, home cooked meals and excellent hosts that make you feel part of the family. The photos do not do this place justice. Thank you to Rick and Lita for creating heaven on earth.
I loved the peace and quiet of the location. Beds are super comfy, dark black out curtains so good sleep here. The sense of being in the jungle as it is nestled with the trees. Take the time to go down to the temple at the bottom of the property, it is a real hidden treat. It is very easy going and I felt cared for by the staff. Only a short motorbike ride to the centre of Ubud.
Really like Heaven in Bali. Very intimate. Food amazing. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Wonderful view. Quiet and very authentic. Run by an English and indonesian couple and they made it very intimate and preserve.
