Featuring a garden and views of garden, The Coachhouse @ Kingsfort House is a guest house situated in a historic building in Sligo, 13 km from Sligo Abbey.

We enjoyed a nice light breakfast brought to our room by our host Michael each morning. Michael renovated the coach house, very well and tastefully done. The Shower was lovely. We enjoyed playing with Juno their dog. Michael was a wealth of information, places to see and things to do. We enjoyed our evenings at Moran’s pub across the street, Hi to Mary Moran! The only issue we found with the "bed" was not the beds themselves, they were very comfortable but as we discovered throughout the rest of our journey through Ireland, no matter where we stayed, 4 star hotel, Airbnb, etc. the comforters were too warm. And the comforters are your only option for a cover while sleeping. I would still stay at the Coachhouse again in a heartbeat, I felt at home. A very quaint and peaceful place to lay your head.

This is a very special place to stay. The house and rooms are enormous and the breakfasts are excellent. Despite being so large, there is a nice informal feel to the place and we could come and go as we pleased. Roderick is a charming host.

A lovely room with direct access to a quiet lounge area for sitting down. Our host was very helpful and we were able to store our bikes away securely in a garage. Breakfast was great. The house and gardens were extremely well looked after.
