Marguerite was a wonderful gracious host. Our arrival was later than we expected, called & her flexibility was so appreciated. Our room was comfortable, a TV!, great beds with heating pad if desired. The shower stall/towel quality was terrific. The breakfast was perfect. Wished we were staying longer.

A place with a strong character. Very well renovated barn next to the former farmhouse with two rooms in the main space. The location is remote and it is important to follow the advice you will get from the hosts about how to use sat nav to get there. Some miles down a narrow road, better characterized as a lane.
Convenient to Skibbereen and to Mizen Head, and a great touring base. Hosts could not have been kinder. Excellent breakfast, made to order at a time of your choosing. Stuart went to some trouble to find out what was open (we were very off season).
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The breakfast was 5 stars with freshly baked bread, homemade jams and yogurt, fresh fruit and freshly coffee such as cappuccino. Each breakfast was individually made and accommodating for personal taste.
The hosts were so attentive and are a wealth of information. Every recommendation exceeded expectations.
The accommodation is in a great location and Rianne is the most welcoming host. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast with a great selection of homemade delights. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
Great location, able to walk everywhere. Our host was fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at home right away. Great room on first floor, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and lots of great tips for seeing the sights and dining in the town that evening. Absolutely loved it and would stay there again.
We could reach the center of Baltimore, which is a pretty touristy town, on foot while staying in Margaret's quiet bed and breakfast. The view from the house is very pretty, especially the host's garden and the lake with the sailing boats.
The breakfast was excellent.
