A lovely hotel with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with powerful showers. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk into Cork from the hotel in around half an hour.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Everything! Vicki was a wonderful and helpful host - customer service personified. Location was great, property was beautiful and had everything we needed. Breakfast options were a perfect, lighter start to the day. Quiet and peaceful, very clean, felt like home
Evelyn was a great hostess, very friendly and helpful, and her accommodation was excellent, very clean with the most comfortable beds . All the little touches, such as fresh fruit and a fridge, stocked up with all the essentials, were greatly appreciated .Perfect location in Blarney .
Amazing guesthouse, incredibly comfortable and aesthetic. The place is easy to reach, at a walking distance from the city centre, and the host was very kind.
Great pit stop with welcoming hosts. Haven’t stayed in a proper BnB in years and made me remember why they are so good. Room was spacious and comfy bed, easy parking and close to the village with pubs and the castle. Nice to stay outside of the city centre as was very quiet. Great breakfast in the morning too.
Everything was perfect! One of the most charming places I've ever stayed. Olwen and Duncan are great hosts and very interesting persons to talk with. Rooms and house decorated with exquisite style, beds extra big and comfortable, terrasse over beautiful gardens... And excellent breakfast in a lovely decorated room looking at the gardens. It's a pitty we stayed only one night! We hope we will come back one day.
Vicky is a great host! Room 1 is spacious, very comfy, well equipped and the whole place is marvelously decorated! We are in love with the wallpaper in the room! Continental breakfast is perfect and very complete, with fresh fruits, fresh milk, etc. All around, you get so much bang for your bucks, I don’t see the point of paying more in a hotel! Merci beaucoup, from Canada!
