Everything about The Paddock is exceptional. It's a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful but still not far from anywhere if that makes sense. The host greeted us very warmly and made sure we had everything we needed.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean, bright and airy and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others.

Loved the kitchen space and being able to sit for a home cooked meal. We happily bought ourselves a steak and served it with a salad.
The bedroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable.
Spotlessly clean shower and amenities. A beautiful old home that makes a lovely place for weary travellers to stop and enjoy Galway. Norman was a brilliant host.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This guesthouse is in a great location - just a short walk and you're in the heart of Galway City. Nice quiet area not a lot of passing traffic. Facilities were excellent and our host Teresa was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Great location in a quiet neighborhood very close to city center. The room is nice and the breakfast is decent. The host is friendly and accommodating. Entry by door code is very convenient as we came in quite late. Best of all, the room charge is very economical.
We stayed in a little guesthouse separated from the main house which was very nice and comfortable - we had our own space and privacy. There was a complimentary continental breakfast in the main house which was lovely, we were not expecting that. The house is located in a quiet and very green neighbourhood only a short walk away from Galway centre, we loved that it's away from the bustling city centre. The host was very welcoming and overall we loved the experience!
Wonderful, attentive and generous hosts; great location, within easy walking distance of the city centre, but quiet and private and very clean rooms and bathrooms. Generous breakfast.
Asgard Guest House was a great choice. Great location - just a few minutes from the city center. Very friendly reception and host. Delicious breakfast in a lovely courtyard glass pavilion. I will remember and miss this place!
great host. very nice room w ensuite. free parking right at the door. nice optional breakfast for just 10 euro. few minutes to city center . very quiet and peaceful. highly recommended
The location, the host, the guest house in general were all wonderful. Shauna is a very attentive host who knows her city well and has lots of helpful information for guests. The guesthouse is close enough to the city center to walk everywhere but far enough away for a quiet stay. Breakfast is an incredible spread, and you can't beat being right on the ocean in Salthill.
Great location that is quiet and has fantastic views. Nearly a lovely bar and restaurant. 20 minutes walk from Eyre Square City Centre. Great communication with host and high standard of facilities and rooms. Genuinely a great alternative to a hotel for a family as you have everything you need.
