Great location as a base for exploring Connemara. Staff helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfy. My partner is celiac and they were able to accommodate her for breakfast. They had gluten free cornflakes and bread.

The breakfast was cooked to order, thus it was very fresh and hot, much better than a buffet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the history of Connemara video and museum and especially the walk to the original cottage, even in Storm Ashley!

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

Large warm and spacious apartment, very well equipped and comfortable beds. Great location - within walking distance of Clifden and nearby sights. Home baking and welcome pack on arrival. Will hopefully revisit.
